Proclamations and Statements

The following proclamations have been officially declared by Mayor Don Scott. Proclamations are ceremonial documents signed by the Mayor that recognize important issues, social profit events, arts and cultural celebrations, special occasions or honours on a specific day, week or month. The documents are strictly honorary and are not endorsements for an event, cause or program.

Statements are brief messages to the public from the Mayor. Statements provide an opportunity for the Mayor to publicly provide his position on a matter, offer an update on an important initiative, and so on.
