Information about your 2017 Notice of Assessment

Residents are reminded that the deadline to file an appeal against the 2017 Notice of Assessment has passed.

If you were affected by the 2016 wildfire and believe your 2017 Notice of Assessment is incorrect due to the property’s physical condition as of December 31, 2016, please contact the Assessment office to have your assessment reviewed. If a discrepancy is found in the physical condition of your property due to the wildfire as of this legislated date, an appeal will not be required and a new assessment notice will be issued. Notice to Property Owners

Council approved the 2017 Property Tax Rate Bylaw on May 16, 2017. Property taxes were due on June 30, 2017.

A Tax Installment Payment Plan (TIPP) is available for your convenience. You may find this an easy and cost-effective way of paying your annual tax bill.

Late payment penalties will be applied to any outstanding balance of property taxes by the following schedule:
