igNIGHT is a 10-day temporary public art exhibition that aims to inspire public art initiatives in ways that engage the interest and imagination of the general public using illuminated artworks at the heart of the exhibition. Public Art Wood Buffalo invites multidisciplinary artists, organizations, and/or collectives to submit proposals to stage temporary, light-based public art within downtown Fort McMurray, AB. 

Deadline for Submission: Thursday, May 16, 2019, 2:00 p.m. (MST),
Notification Date: Thursday, May 30, 2019
Installation: September 20 to 26, 2019
igNIGHT Exhibition: September 27 to October 6, 2019
Removal: October 7 to October 11, 2019

igNIGHT invites artists, organizations, or collectives to submit proposals to one or all project categories. Please select your project proposal category as described on Page 9 of the artist call.
CONCEPT IMAGE: Preliminary two-dimensional colour representations, drawings, renderings, or photographs of the proposed artwork submitted in PDF or JPEG format. Project images must include estimated dimensions. No more than 6 project images.
I hereby make a submission for the igNIGHT Art Illuminated Project above and am in agreement with the Terms of Competition as outlined in the information Package.
