Environment Canada tracks all weather systems in order to mitigate their potential effects, but some severe storms can strike without notice and have long-lasting effects in our region. They can take on many forms: thunderstorms, hail, blizzards, ice storms, and heavy rain; developing quickly and threatening life and property.
