Spray parks are not turned on until 10 a.m. Should you use the facilities before this time, they will not spray water.

Trail Closure - Birch Rd to Dr. Clark School
Unfortunately due to some vandalism of the stairway along the trail, this trail will be closed until further notice while repairs are ongoing.

Outdoor Skating Rinks
The outdoor rinks have closed for the 2018/2019 winter season. We'll re-open again in the fall as weather conditions permit. Please follow this page for updates or contact Pulse at 780-743-7000. 

Sno-Drifter Trail Closed - Draper Rd. to Saprae Creek

Residents that access the Sno-Drifter trail running from Draper Rd. to Saprae Creek has been closed and is not passable. Please avoid the area until further notice as the area is not safe for use.

Cree Road Play Structure

On Sept. 15, 2018, the play structure at the park on Cree Rd. will be fenced off until further notice, as it has been identified to be replaced. Stay tuned for updates to announce when this play structure has been replaced.

Birchwood Trails Update
Hikers and skiers are advised that a portion of Wolf Trail has been closed off temporarily due to flooding and high levels of slush at the bridge. Please avoid the area and observe any posted signage. Thank you.

Borealis Spray Park Update
This park will be closed for major renovations during the summer of 2018. The spray park is scheduled to reopen in the summer of 2019. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we renovate the park to serve you better! 

During this renovation, we encourage you to visit one of our other spray parks listed below.

Temporary sidewalk closure - Thickwood
The sidewalk along Thickwood Blvd from Casman Centre to Father Mercredi High School is temporarily closed due to extremely muddy conditions. Notification will be shared with residents when the sidewalk is open again for use. Thank you.

BOARDED OUTDOOR RINKS 

Boarded rinks are built and maintained by the municipality. Weather permitting, municipal boarded rinks operate from mid-December until spring.

Note: Parks Services closes each rink daily for flooding and regular maintenance. After regular maintenance, the rinks will remain closed until frozen (approximately one to three hours, depending on weather).
