Crews have mobilized for the Mills Avenue Storm Water Management - Phase One - project. This project will continue to help with the flood mitigation for Heritage Park. The project will not interrupt any services with your water or sewer.

Consun Construction will be acting as the municipality’s contractor on this project, supported by consultant AMEC.

The project involves installing a storm sewer approximately 320 metres behind Heritage Park, Corless Field and the residences on the corner of Penhorwood Street and Mills Avenue to connect into the main storm water system. This project is an open trench and is currently underway.

Work is expected to be complete, with the area re-landscaped, by mid-October 2016.

This is a two-phase project. The second phase will take place by Tolen Drive during the next construction season.
