Bylaw Services Weekly Update Oct. 9 – 15, 2017

(Fort McMurray, AB – October 6, 2017) – As colder weather nears, accessible parking stalls may look like a quick fix to stay out of the cold for a few extra seconds when running errands. The accessible parking stall you use is a necessity for residents with mobility issues; not being able to use one can dramatically impact their lives. Please consider the impact of parking in an accessible stall and leave these spaces available for those who depend on them.

Remember, a valid placard is required to use accessible parking stalls. For more information about accessible parking, please go to the Service Alberta website at servicealberta.ca or visit any Alberta Registry Agent.
