Employees returning from travel or feeling unwell

Any employees who are returning from travel have a mandatory requirement to self isolate for 14 days and monitor for symptoms: cough, sore throat, fever, shortness of breath or nasal congestion. If you become sick during this period you must self-isolate for at least 10 additional days from all other members of your household from the beginning of your symptoms or until you are feeling well, whichever takes longer.

If you are displaying any of the following symptoms: cough, sore throat, fever, shortness of breath or nasal congestion - regardless of whether you have traveled or not, you have a mandatory requirement to self-isolate for 10 days. Self-isolation period is for 10 days from the start of symptoms, or until symptoms resolve, whichever takes longer. 

If you feel that you need to be tested for COVID-19, please take the AHS online assessment and follow their direction.

Working remotely

Working from home/remotely is key to keeping things running at the Municipality during this evolving situation. If required, your direct supervisor will set expectations, assign work and track measurable outcomes.

The Administrative Directive, Pandemic Outbreak Response - Working Remotely - HRM-490-D is available. Please familiarize yourself with this directive as it provides key information for working remotely, and if you have any questions follow-up with your direct supervisor.
