Bylaw Services Weekly Update: Oct. 17-23

(Fort McMurray, AB – October 14, 2016) – Did you know that to keep our residents safe, the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo will be plowing streets and clearing any snow they may have placed on sidewalks? Each neighborhood’s Winter Maintenance Zone will be active on the same weekday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Remember, parking in your alleyway is not permitted in order to provide access for emergency vehicles and your neighbors. Vehicles not complying with the parking regulations or parking in an active Winter Maintenance Zone could receive a $120 ticket and be towed to an impound yard at the owner’s expense.  Please help to do your part in keeping our streets clear and safe. Learn more about Winter Maintenance Zones at rmwb.ca/snowplow.
