Bylaw Services Weekly Update June 5 – 12, 2017

(Fort McMurray, AB – June 2, 2017) – Bylaw Services reminds residents to use crosswalks when crossing the street. Crosswalks are placed in areas with improved visibility and are signed to indicate to drivers that pedestrians cross the road at this location.

Pedestrians should always stop, look both ways and make eye contact with drivers before entering a crosswalk. Drivers should always approach marked sidewalks with caution. Let’s work together to make walking on and crossing roads safer for everyone.
