Bylaw Services Weekly Update May 22-29, 2017: Can’t find Fido? Check our In-Care Gallery

(Fort McMurray, AB – May 18, 2017) – Bylaw Services reminds residents that if you are missing your pet, you can look online to see if Animal Control Services has found it. 

The Animal Control In-Care Gallery displays photos and descriptions of cats and dogs that have been found in the community. If you recognize your pet, please ensure you refer to the Animal Control Unit (ACU) file number when calling to claim it.

Photo radar vehicles will be located near the following areas for week of May 22-29, 2017:

  • McAlpine Crescent
  • Highway 63 in the Urban Service Area 
  • Cornwall Drive
  • Sandpiper Road
  • Confederation Way
  • School Zones within the Urban Service Area

  • Coventry Drive
  • Heritage Drive
  • Christina Gordon Public School
  • St. Kateri Catholic School
  • Walter and Gladys Hill Public School

DriveSafe Intersection Safety Systems are active at the following intersections:

  • Thickwood Boulevard and Silin Forest Road
  • Thickwood Boulevard and Woodland Drive

  • Franklin Avenue and Tamarack Village Mall
  • Franklin Avenue and Hospital Street
  • Confederation Way and Paquette Drive

We ask motorists to be mindful of posted speed limits and to obey traffic signals.
