Dunvegan Gardens Appeal Available Via Livestream on Feb. 16

(Fort McMurray, AB – February 10, 2017) – The Subdivision and Development Appeal Board is meeting to hear the Dunvegan Gardens appeal on Thursday, Feb. 16 at 6:30 p.m. in the Jubilee Centre Council Chamber.

The meeting is open to the public, however, residents are invited to watch a live broadcast of the appeal.

“Due to the significant level of public interest in this matter and limited seating capacity, we encourage members of the public who do not wish to address the Board to follow the hearing via the livestream,” said Audrey Rogers, Chief Legislative Officer.

Members of the public also have the option to send in written submissions to the Clerk of the Board to express their comments. All written submissions are due by 4 p.m. on Feb. 15 and will be included as evidence.

Those wishing to speak in favour or against the appeal are encouraged to register with the Clerk prior to the hearing. To ensure the hearing does not exceed a reasonable length of time, the Board will impose time limits and strictly enforce them.

All photography, video recording and signs are prohibited from the Council Chamber during the hearing.

To watch the livestream, go to rmwb.ca/live. For more information on the Subdivision and Development Appeal Board, visit rmwb.ca/SDAB

To register to speak or to submit written submissions, contact the Clerk of the Board at SDAB@rmwb.ca or 780-743-7001.
