In an ongoing effort to inform residents about recovery initiatives, the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo is pleased to announce the first in a series of public information sessions.
In partnership with the Wood Buffalo Recovery Committee (WBRC), subject matter experts, and various stakeholders, the Municipality is committed to hosting weekly in-person information sessions for the next two months. This initiative supports the WBRC’s commitment to developing more opportunities to inform residents about ongoing recovery efforts.
The Municipality will be hosting these informal in-person sessions at various locations across the region. Residents are encouraged to attend these information sessions for regular updates and ask questions related to recovery. The insights gathered from each session will be posted on rmwb.ca/engage the following day.
“We invite residents to join us at the public information sessions to express their priorities, concerns and to learn about the ongoing recovery efforts,” said Jeanette Bancarz, Chair, Wood Buffalo Recovery Committee. “This is a great opportunity for our residents to ask subject matter experts questions related to recovery and get insights on the work going into the rebuild process.”
