Wildfire Recovery Focus Group Application The Recovery Task Force is seeking volunteers who are willing to participate in small focus groups for deeper discussions about activity in the community.

On Aug. 18, 2016, the Here for You Public Information Sessions were launched as part of the ongoing effort to listen to your concerns, answer your questions and bring you information on recovery efforts.
These sessions are held on an as-needed basis with the goal of supporting a community-driven recovery process that is informative, helpful and catered to the needs of residents.
Held in partnership with the Wood Buffalo Recovery Committee (WBRC), subject matter experts and other stakeholders, the sessions support the WBRC’s commitment to inform residents of ongoing recovery efforts.
Residents are encouraged to attend these sessions for updates on recovery activity and to ask questions on issues that matter to you.

Bi-weekly Public Information Sessions
Here for You Public Information Sessions will take place at the McMurray Experience at Jubilee Plaza every second Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. These sessions are part of the ongoing efforts to listen to the community’s concerns and provide valuable information on recovery efforts.
Next session: March 29, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
At this session you’ll have an opportunity to Meet Fire Chief Jody Butz and learn more about Emergency Preparedness ahead of the 2017 Wildfire Season. As always, subject matter experts will be on hand to answer other recovery questions and address your concerns.
