Winter Maintenance Zones relaxed October 30 – November 3

(Fort McMurray, AB – October 27, 2017) – Winter Maintenance Zones (WMZ) are relaxed for the week of Oct. 30 – Nov. 3. This means that residential on-street parking will be permitted until WMZs are activated by the Municipality.

WMZs will be relaxed until winter maintenance is required. When WMZs are activated, notification will be shared with the public, including on the Municipal website and electronic street signage. Residents can also call the PULSE line at 780-743-7000 or submit a request for more information at rmwb.ca/pulse.

Residents can identify their zone and subzone by using the Find Your Zone tool on the Municipal website at rmwb.ca/snowplow.

The Municipality’s priority is to inform residents about the program for snow and ice control and to facilitate on-street parking restriction, so that residents can avoid being ticketed or towed.

Find up-to-date information about on-street parking restrictions, zone and subzone maps, FAQs and more at rmwb.ca/snowplow.
