The Amazing Waste Race encourages schools in the Wood Buffalo region to actively work towards a greener school environment.

The seventh annual Amazing Waste Race will take place from April 23 to June 1, 2018. The program is open to all schools within the RMWB.

By completing a variety of challenges ranging from a schoolyard clean up to submitting a poem on litter prevention, schools are awarded points. The school with the most points at the end of the program receives the title of Amazing Waste Race Champion!
