The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo seeks design proposals from local artists that showcase the region's natural beauty and surrounding landscape. Selected designs will be transferred onto a vinyl wrap to be installed on 10 large bus shelters throughout Fort McMurray.

The Bus Shelter Graphic Wrap Program was initiated by the Communities in Bloom committee in 2014 with the objective to increase local exposure of visual and public arts, enhance the beautification of our urban streetscapes and deter the vandalism of public property.

Successful proposals will be awarded $500 per selected design. Application deadline is Wednesday, Sept. 21, at 4 p.m. (MST). The Bus Shelter Graphic Wrap Program is open to residents of Wood Buffalo.

Download the above Request for Proposal Package for application details or contact the Community Strategies Branch within the Community Services Department at 780-743-7966 or email: recreationandculture@rmwb.ca
