Litter-Picking Sticks and Vests

Please note:
  • Litter-picking sticks and safety vests are property of the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo.
  • Litter-picking sticks and safety vests will be signed out on a first-come, first-served basis, and must be returned to the Syncrude Athletic Park Clubhouse (101 Cartier Road) within two weeks of your scheduled cleanup event.
  • Group leaders agree to return all litter-picking sticks and safety vests in the same condition that they are provided, beyond normal wear and tear.
  • Group leaders understand that there is no charge for the use of the litter-picking sticks and safety vests. However, in the event that they are not returned, the group understands that there may be a $25 replacement fee per unit.

Volunteers can assemble cleanup kits with the supplies they need for their groups at the Syncrude Clubhouse (101 Cartier Road) in Timberlea. Hours for kit assembly are as follows:

  • Monday to Friday, 2:30 pm - 7:30 pm
  • Saturday and Sunday, 10:30 am - 5:30 pm

Litter picking sticks and vests can be returned to the Syncrude Clubhouse during the same timeframe, after clean ups are completed.
