The EnviroMENTOR Program

The EnviroMENTOR program pairs high school students with Grade 4 classrooms.

The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo is committed to inspiring and enhancing community beautification. We believe one of the most important ways to accomplish this goal is to work with young people to educate them and help them develop a sense of pride and appreciation for their community.
The EnviroMENTOR program pairs high school students with Grade 4 classrooms in the RMWB. The mentors teach the students one 60 minute lesson, once a week for five weeks. These lessons include:
Civic Pride
Graffiti Management
Litter Awareness
The Environment
Final Project - Promise Tree
These caring high school students have a great effect on the younger students and they are a positive role model in the students’ lives.

The EnviroMENTOR Program runs every fall. Get your students involved!
