Fort McMurray Urban Market
The Urban Market started in 2013 as a pilot market and was huge success becoming an instant community favorite. It has now evolved into an annual event running from June until September on a bi-weekly basis. The market is an outdoor event located at Jubilee Plaza and is host to a variety of vendors, community groups and special events.
The market consists of vendors selling fresh fruits and vegetables, handmade crafts, free-range meats, prepared lunch items, specialty coffees, ethnic food and much more. Fun Fact: The Fort McMurray Urban Market is an Alberta Approved Farmers Market, which means that 80 per cent of the market's vendors make, bake or grow their products in Alberta.
Applications for 2016 are now available. The Urban Market is continually seeking vendors for the market. If you are interested in participating please check out our Vendor Information page to learn more. Follow us on Facebook and on Twitter to keep informed!
