Virtual Community Townhall Q & A

The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo’s Virtual Community Townhall Q & A series is an opportunity for residents to receive an update on the municipality’s response to COVID-19 and to ask questions. Following brief remarks from Mayor Scott and the Director of Emergency Management, the townhall focuses on answering your most pressing questions. Your questions are answered by a panel of subject matter experts from various government and community organizations, such as: Alberta Health Services, Alberta Emergency Management Agency, Department of Indigenous Services Canada, Wood Buffalo Economic Development Corporation, Oil Sands Community Alliance and Fort McMurray Airport Authority.

Please note that while best efforts are made to secure a panel of experts from various agencies, the panel may differ at each townhall event based on availability.

Please note that the previously scheduled April 30 townhall is cancelled as we respond to the ongoing river break and flood in the region. Thank you for your understanding.
