Community Standards Appeal Committee (CSAC)

In an effort to prepare for, and prevent the spread of COVID-19, the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo has closed all offices to the public.  While all our municipal offices are closed, we will still be accepting Community Standards Appeal submissions.

Please submit your completed complaint forms to csac@rmwb.ca.  At this time, we are unable to process filing fee payments including credit card payments.  You will be advised when payment options have been finalized.

    The Community Standards Appeal Committee (CSAC) is a Quasi-Judicial Committee; which means the meetings are conducted in a court like manner.

    CSAC is a Council Committee established to:

    1. hear and adjudicate appeals brought by any person who has received an order under section 545 or 546 of the Municipal Government Act and other related .proceedings;
    2. Hear and adjudicate appeals brought by an animal owner who has receive an Order declaring an animal vicious under Section 76 of the Responsible Pet Owner Bylaw.
      Meetings are held on as needed basis to be held in Council Chamber in the Jubilee Building at 9909 Franklin Avenue, Fort McMurray
