King Street Bridge Rehabilitation

As part of ongoing infrastructure maintenance, the Municipality will be rehabilitating the King St. Bridge located across from Heritage Village and Fire Hall #1 on Tolen Dr.

The scope of this project will affect residents and motorists on King St., Tolen Dr., and Centennial Dr.

Motorists can expect temporary detours, however signage will direct traffic around work areas. Traffic accommodation will be provided on King St., Franklin Ave., and Clearwater Dr. (formerly known as Prairie Loop Blvd.) throughout construction.

Fire Hall #1 will remain open, and vehicle and pedestrian access to Heritage Village and Lion’s Park will be available throughout construction. Pedestrians will also have access to the walking bridge over the Hangingstone River.

Residents can expect to see equipment and crews working in the area. Please watch for posted signage and be cautious of workers in the area.

Project Schedule

  • Bridge construction: Feb. - May 2018
