2019 Citizen Satisfaction Survey: We’ve got questions. You’ve got answers.

(Fort McMurray, AB – March 1, 2019) – Once again, residents across the region may get a phone call from Yardstick Research as part of the 2019 Citizen Satisfaction Survey.

Much like the 2018 Citizen Satisfaction Survey, Yardstick Research, a professional research firm, will be calling residents across the region at random to get their feedback in a number of areas. Should you get a call, you’re encouraged to share your feedback. Residents are also invited to take the survey online at rmwb.ca/satisfaction.

“Last year we checked in with residents to gain insight into their perceptions and opinions about the services we provide,” said Lynda McLean, Director, Communications, Stakeholder, Indigenous and Rural Relations. “We’d like to continue this dialogue with residents through the Citizen Satisfaction Survey. This process will allow us to better identify our successes, while continuing to look for opportunities for improvement.”

The 2019 Citizen Satisfaction Survey will assess resident awareness and satisfaction around:
Quality of life and safety
Municipal services, programs and facilities
Contact with municipal staff
Value received for tax dollars
Municipal priorities
Communication with the public

Households within Fort McMurray and the region’s rural hamlets will be randomly selected for the phone survey. Depending on the length of resident answers, it should take approximately 20 minutes to complete.

Residents who do not receive a phone call from Yardstick Research and wish to share their feedback can take the 2019 Citizen Satisfaction Survey online at rmwb.ca/satisfaction.
