Bylaw Services’ Toys for Tickets program to begin December 1

(Fort McMurray, AB – November 27, 2019) – Motorists who receive parking tickets between Dec. 1 and 15 will have the opportunity to pay with toys this holiday season.

The fourth annual Toys for Tickets program will accept toys between Dec. 1 and 20 at South Policing Facility, 150 MacLennan Crescent, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

All toys will be donated to the Fort McMurray Salvation Army’s Adopt-A-Family program, which distributes holiday hampers to local families in need.

Toys must be new, in original packaging and accompanied by their receipts. If the toy’s value is lower than the price of the ticket, gift cards (with validation receipt) will be accepted for the difference.

Members of the public who have not received a parking ticket are also encouraged to donate toys to the program.
