(Fort McMurray, AB – January 11, 2019) – Starting the week of Jan. 21, curbside collection weekdays for approximately 2,000 residences in Fort McMurray will change from either Wednesday to Tuesday, or from Thursday to Wednesday.

Customer service is the Municipality’s priority, and these updates to curbside collection will improve both efficiency and effectiveness.

Residents are reminded that bins must be out to the curb by 7:30 a.m. on the collection day.

Please place bins on the road in front of windrows, not on top of or behind windrows or crews won’t be able to collect them. Brush snow off the top of bins when placing to the curb. This will help crews to better identify bins and collect waste more efficiently.
