Emergency Housing Extended until May 10

(Fort McMurray, AB – May 2, 2020) – If you are currently being supported with housing because your home is not safe to live in due to flood damage, please stay in those accommodations.

“Ensuring the safety of residents affected by the flood continues to be our top priority,” said Mayor Don Scott. “This includes making sure that those whose homes aren’t safe to occupy continue to have a place to sleep.”

The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo is committed to ensuring that housing will continue to be provided for you through the Canadian Red Cross until May 10. Additional information regarding housing be available in coming days.
