Municipality announces 2018 Stuff-A-Bus event for Santas Anonymous

(Fort McMurray, AB – November 23, 2018) – Local businesses, schools and industry are invited to register for the third annual Stuff-A-Bus event to raise donations of new toys for Santas Anonymous.

Santas Anonymous is a student-led initiative at Father Mercredi High School and has been in operation since 1984. For the second year, Municipal Transit is supporting this community initiative through a toy drive. 

Businesses, schools and industry are asked to set up a bin or hamper and canvass staff, students and residents to donate new unwrapped toys including Gift Cards. Transit Services will supply a decorated box for collection to registered businesses if requested. 

All participating businesses and schools are asked to register in advance. 

On Friday, Dec. 14, a Municipal Transit bus will visit each registered participant to collect their donations. There will be opportunity for recognition of participating businesses, photos, social media, and more. Keep your ears open for announcements on Mix 103.7 and Cruz 100.5 FM.

Registration is open Nov. 23 until noon on Dec. 12

Encourage everyone to bring in donations before Dec 14
Municipal Transit will visit registered locations on Dec. 14, so you can stuff the bus with donations.
