Municipality encouraging donations to Santa Anonymous through annual Stuff-A-Bus toy drive

(Fort McMurray, AB – November 22, 2019) – Local businesses, schools, non-profit organizations and industry are encouraged to register for the fourth annual Stuff-A-Bus toy drive to help raise donations for Santa Anonymous.

Participating organizations will receive a decorated box to set up at their location to collect new unwrapped toy donations or gift cards from staff, customers, clients, students, volunteers and everyone else interested in spreading the holiday spirit. All donations go to the local Santa Anonymous campaign to deliver to homes and families in the region 

On Friday, Dec. 13, Municipal Transit Services will visit each registered participant to collect their donations and deliver them to Father Mercredi High School. Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus along with Country 93.3. and 97.9 Rock will help collect some of the donations and Stuff-a-Bus full of toys and Christmas joy. 

Santas Anonymous is a student-led initiative at Father Mercredi High School and has been in operation since 1984. 

All participating businesses, schools and organizations are asked to register before Dec. 12 at 12:00 p.m.  

There will be opportunity for recognition of participating businesses. Keep your ears open for announcements on Country 93.3 and 97.9 Rock.

Encourage everyone to bring in donations before Dec 13
Municipal Transit Services will visit all registered locations on Dec. 13 and stuff the bus with donations.
