RMWB’s final townhall in the month of May to focus on COVID-19 and flood recovery

(Fort McMurray, AB – May 26, 2020) – The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo (RMWB) hosts a virtual community townhall this Thursday May 28 at 6:10 p.m. This week, panelists are available to take questions on the municipal response to COVID-19, flood recovery, and other municipal-related topics residents may have questions about.  

Residents can participate in the townhall virtually using the public live stream. Some residents will receive a call connecting them to the townhall. If you do not receive a call at 6:10 p.m. and you are unable to connect via the live stream link, please call 1-800-214-2540 or email townhall@rmwb.ca for instructions on how to connect.

Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions of the panel. The live stream participants will be able to ask a question by typing into a field. The on-call participants must press *3 to ask a question. At this point, they will be directed to a moderator who will take the question and put it in queue.
