WMZ Subzones 2, 3 and 4 active for March 4 - 8

WMZ Subzones 2, 3, and 4 are active for the week of March 4 - 8 as road crews focus on removing snow from residential streets.

While WMZs are active, road crews will focus on removing snow. This means that on-street parking restrictions will be in effect in subzones 2, 3 and 4.

Snow removal processes focus on smaller areas, so crews may not be able to cover every street in a given subzone on its active day. If you don’t see crews in your area, please remember that they are working in other areas to remove as much snow as possible from residential streets.

Further updates will be provided as we approach the week of March 11 - 15.

Roads are still slippery in some areas. Please drive with caution and give yourself extra time and space when travelling.

Keep a safe distance from heavy equipment and exercise caution where maintenance is happening. For everyone’s safety, please do not approach equipment on the roadway. For any questions or concerns, please contact Pulse at 780-743-7000, or submit a request for more information at rmwb.ca/pulse.

Stay tuned for regular updates. Watch for posted electronic signage at the entrance to Fort McMurray communities, or follow the municipal website or social media. Find up-to-date information about on-street parking restrictions, zone and subzone maps, FAQs and more at rmwb.ca/snowplow
