igNIGHT is a temporary public art exhibition championed by Public Art Wood Buffalo. Now in its sixth year, igNIGHT aims to inspire public art initiatives that engage the interest and imagination of the general public using illuminated artworks at the heart of the exhibition.
2021 Curatorial Theme – International Year of Fruits and Vegetables
igNIGHT 2021 is aligning with the declaration made by the United Nations General Assembly that 2021 is the International Year of Fruits and Vegetables (#IYFV2021)! This declaration builds awareness on the important role fruits and vegetables have in nutrition, food security and human and planetary health. It also aims to promote the reduction of food loss and waste and encourage sustainability and safety of the food chain process. Help the Food Bank #FEEDYMM
igNIGHT 2021 supports and aligns with the declaration made by the United Nations (UN) General Assembly that 2021 is the International Year of Fruits and Vegetables. All attendees are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items which will be collected and donated to the Wood Buffalo Food Bank.

- Installations are visible anytime for the duration of the exhibition. Artworks will be illuminated nightly from 5: 30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
