
Local, national and international artists can submit an Expression of Interest for igNIGHT
Artists, organizations and collectives from across the globe are invited to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to stage temporary, light-based experiences at igNIGHT from Oct. 1 to 5.
Exhibition theme is The Unknown
The theme for 2025 is The Unknown. Artist proposals for igNIGHT should explore the mysteries and uncertainties that lie beyond human understanding or perception.
Who can apply?
Artists of all disciplines residing in Canada and beyond can apply! Performing, visual, new media and beyond, this opportunity is open to artists who can:
- Align their proposal with the curatorial theme.
- Offer an engaging artist talk.
- Exhibit their artwork outdoors from 5 to 10 p.m. for the duration of the five-day exhibition.

About igNIGHT
igNIGHT is a five-day temporary public art exhibition in Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada.
This engaging family-friendly art exhibition is held every two years and will once again be hosted in kiyām Community Park in downtown Fort McMurray.
