Communities in Bloom also introducing the Grow a Row, Share a Row initiative
It’s time to recognize beautiful gardens and storefronts across the region! Residents and businesses are encouraged to appreciate and recognize exceptional gardens and floral displays this summer with Nominate Your Neighbour.
By nominating, we acknowledge the efforts of community members and businesses in beautifying their properties!
Nominations can be made online by submitting a photo of a front yard garden or storefront floral display at rmwb.ca/NYN.
Nominations will be accepted until Aug. 15.
What do nominees receive?
Each nominee will receive a Nominate Your Neighbour package, which includes a certificate and a lawn sign as a token of recognition. In addition to this, lucky draw winners receive a gardening kit!
Photos of nominated homes and businesses may be featured on municipal social media accounts to highlight the beauty of the region.

Grow a Row, Share a Row
The Wood Buffalo Communities in Bloom committee invites residents, businesses and organizations to grow lettuce and share it with neighbours, family or local organizations such as the Wood Buffalo Food Bank.
For every bag of fresh lettuce donated, you receive a ballot entry to win a planter box prize package.
Simply label your donated bags, take a quick photo, and submit it online.
