
Updated funding allocation adjusts 2025 CIP funding total to $7 million
On Monday, Jan. 20, the Community Investment Program Approval Committee (CIPAC) approved funding for Markaz Ul-Islam in the amount of $232,873 under the Community Sustaining Grant stream.
This adjusts the total amount of all grants approved under the Community Investment Program (CIP) to $7 million.
The update to the 2025 CIP allocation means that the unallocated funding for the Community Initiatives Reserve will be adjusted to $5,512,445. The reserve is intended for the 2026 CIP cycle.
The CIP funding allocation for 2025 was originally announced on Dec. 19, 2024.

About the Community Investment Program
Each year, non-profit organizations, individuals and athletes can access municipal grants through the Community Investment Program. The program helps social profit organizations deliver programs, projects, services and events. It also supports cultural activities, individual, and team development or competition in regional, national and international sporting events.
