Introduction
FireSmart treatments will be conducted in three neighbourhoods/communities – Thickwood, Timberlea (Stone Creek), and Saprae Creek to manage vegetation within a total area of approximately 14 hectares. Work will begin in Spring 2025 to thin and prune trees and clean out debris in high-hazard forested areas.
All work will be complete with hand crews. Firewood may be available to the public as the project progresses. Please follow all signage, keep a safe distance from workers and equipment and do not enter closed areas.
