Drive-thru parade happening July 1 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Municipality is inviting organizations and businesses to join the 2021 Canada Day celebrations by registering entries for the upcoming Drive-Thru Canada Day Parade.
The parade will take place on Clearwater Drive on Thursday, July 1, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Unlike a traditional parade where spectators stay in one spot and watch floats and performers go down Franklin Avenue, visitors will reserve a time to drive-thru to see the Canada Day stationary floats.
Enter a float and join the community celebration on Canada Day by visiting rmwb.ca/canadaday. Float registration closes June 17 at 12:00 p.m.
Booking details for residents to be announced in June
The Municipality will offer an online booking system for community members to reserve a time to drive-thru and view floats. It’s expected registration will open June 23. A formal announcement and additional details will be shared in the days ahead.
