Regional Emergency Services (RES), partners and other local emergency services providers, are happy to again invite the community to a free pancake breakfast and fire hall open house.
Tours, obstacle course, teddy bear clinic, Zumba fun and more!
On Saturday, Sept. 23, from 9 a.m. until noon at Fire Hall 1 (Hawkins Hall, 2 Tolen Drive), breakfast will be served, and many fun, interesting activities and demonstrations held. The morning will have something for everyone – including rescue demonstrations, tours of emergency services equipment, fire trucks, and an interactive fire safety trailer.
Children can enjoy Zumba with Sparky and other local mascots, and even take part in a kid-sized firefighter obstacle course. Teddy bears in need of attention will also receive care at a special clinic.
Free public parking for the breakfast will be available at Fort McMurray Composite High School and Keyano College parking lots. A free shuttle service from the parking lots to the fire hall will be available. Parking will also be available at Fort McMurray Heritage Village.
