Help put the brakes on bike theft!

Register your bike with Bike Index

You can now register your bike with Bike Index, a non-profit bike registry, to help reduce bike theft in the region.

“We continually look for tools to support our community to combat theft,” said Nicole Chouinard, Manager RCMP Support Services. “Some of our neighbouring communities have partnered with Bike Index and have seen a direct connection with this program and the increase of bike returns. We believe if the community adapts this tool, we can cut down on bike theft in our region.”

Join Wood Buffalo RCMP Community Policing and Bylaw Services on Aug. 13 in the front parking lot of the detachment in Timberlea at 105 Paquette Drive from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Bring your bikes and helmets and register for Bike Index, participate in an obstacle course and get tested for helmet fitting.

Can’t make it to the Bike Rodeo? Register your bike from the comfort of your home! All you need is your name, bike manufacturer, serial number and component information.
