Santa needs help gathering toys for children and families in our communities!

Local businesses, schools, non-profit organizations and industry are encouraged to register for the sixth annual Stuff-A-Bus toy drive to help raise donations for Santas Anonymous.

Beginning in 1984, Santas Anonymous is a student-led initiative at Father Mercredi that collects donations and provides opportunities for families and children to celebrate the holiday season. The Stuff-A-Bus campaign is a partnership between Transit Services, Santas Anonymous, and this year, Country 93.3 and Rock 97.9.

How to participate in the Stuff-A-Bus toy drive

To register for Stuff-A-Bus, contact Transit Customer Service at transit@rmwb.ca or 780-743-7931. Interested participants should sign up before Dec. 10.

Participating organizations collect new unwrapped toy donations, gift cards for local businesses or monetary donations from staff, customers or anyone interested in spreading the holiday spirit this season. All donations go to the local Santas Anonymous campaign to deliver to local children and families.

For 2021, the Santas Anonymous campaign is most in need of monetary donations and gift cards to local businesses for teenagers.

All participants are encouraged to set up a donation bin at their office, with a Santas Anonymous Stuff-A-Bus poster. A printable poster is available for download on the Municipal website.

The Stuff-A-Bus campaign already has more than 20 returning local businesses and organizations. However, new participants are needed every year to ensure Santa can deliver as many presents as possible.

Stuffing Day

On Dec. 10, Transit Services will visit each registered participant to collect their donations and deliver them to Santas Anonymous at Father Mercredi High School.

Santa Claus along with Country 93.3 and Rock 97.9 will be along for the ride to help stuff-a-bus full of donations and spread the holiday spirit!

Learn more about the Stuff-A-Bus campaign, including locations of participating organizations to drop-off donations, at rmwb.ca/stuffabus.
