Santa needs help to bring busloads of toys and holiday joy to children and families in our communities!
Local businesses, schools, non-profit organizations and industry are encouraged to register for the seventh annual Stuff-A-Bus toy drive to help raise donations for Santas Anonymous.
The Stuff-A-Bus campaign is a partnership between Transit Services, Santas Anonymous, and this year, Mix 103.7 and 100.5 Cruz.
How to participate in the Stuff-A-Bus toy drive
To register for Stuff-A-Bus, contact Transit Customer Service at transit@rmwb.ca or 780-743-7931. Interested participants should sign up before Dec. 1.
Participating organizations collect new unwrapped toy donations, gift cards for local businesses or monetary donations from staff, customers or anyone interested in spreading the holiday spirit this season. All donations go to the local Santas Anonymous campaign to deliver to local children and families.
For 2022, the Santas Anonymous campaign is most in need of toys for children 1 – 9 years old.
All participants are encouraged to set up a donation bin at their office, with a Santas Anonymous Stuff-A-Bus poster.
New participants are needed every year to ensure Santa can deliver as many presents as possible. All locations of participating organizations to drop-off donations will be available on the Municipal website.
Stuffing Day
On Dec. 9, Transit Services will visit each registered participant to collect their donations and deliver them to Santas Anonymous at Father Mercredi High School.
Santa’s helpers, along with Mix 103.7 and 100.5 Cruz, will join the ride to help stuff-a-bus full of donations and spread the holiday spirit!
Santas Anonymous
Beginning in 1984, Santas Anonymous is a student-led initiative at Father Mercredi that collects donations and provides opportunities for families and children to celebrate the holiday season.
In addition to Stuff-A-Bus, there are numerous other fundraising events happening during the 2022 Santas Anonymous campaign. Find all the details at fmcschools.ca/santas-anonymous.
