On Wednesday, May 10 at 7 p.m. all are welcome to come out for a special evening with Cody Caetano, author of Half-Bads in White Regalia.
This special event will be held in the main floor lobby of the municipal Jubilee Building and is offered in partnership with the Wood Buffalo Regional Library as part of the Indigenous Speaker Series and the It's Time to Read Book Club.
It will feature a presentation and reading from the author, followed by a question-and-answer session.
“This is the first time we’ve been able to host an in-person reading for the book club, as well as the first in-person Speaker Series event, and we are very excited to host someone with such an inspiring and relatable story,” said Reconciliation Advisor Lauren Golosky. “In addition to being an incredible, award-winning author, Cody also works in publishing, so this is a great opportunity for local writers to hear from someone in that industry.”
