Awards will be presented for Citizen of the Year, Youth, Indigenous Advocate and Everyday Hero
Council’s Excellence Awards is an opportunity to recognize individuals and groups that go above and beyond to make significant contributions to the region and positively impact the daily lives of community members.
“There are so many people in our region that deserve to be recognized for what they do to make this such a great place to call home,” said Mayor Sandy Bowman. “The neighbourhoods, communities and workplaces here are filled with exceptional individuals, groups and organizations so I encourage community members to think about this opportunity and to nominate someone.”
Award nominations have now closed
Thank you to all community members who submitted nominations. Award recipients will be recognized at a ceremony in December.
