The Wood Buffalo Communities in Bloom’s Nominate Your Neighbour program runs until Aug. 15.
If you’ve noticed exceptional gardens or awe-inspiring floral displays in your neighbourhood, say thank you by participating in the Nominate Your Neighbour program. Nominating someone is very easy and is a great way to recognize a neighbour or a local business’ efforts to beautify your community.
Simply visit rmwb.ca/nyn, upload a picture and complete a very short online nomination form.
“Landscaped yards, colourful flower arrangements and captivating storefronts magnify the beauty of the region,” said Helen Meyer, the chair of the Wood Buffalo Communities in Bloom Committee. “Nominate your neighbour or a local business to say thank you and recognize all the hard work they put into beautifying the community.”
The Wood Buffalo Communities in Bloom’s Nominate Your Neighbour summer program is eagerly accepting nominations until Aug. 15.
What will the nominees receive?
Those nominated:
- Will receive a recognition lawn sign and certificate from the Wood Buffalo Communities in Bloom Committee.
- Will be entered to win Scotts Miracle Gro products.
- May have photos of their nominated homes or businesses shared on Municipal social media accounts.

Communities in Bloom Symposium and Awards
The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo is hosting the 2023 Communities in Bloom Symposium and Awards in September. The success of previous Nominate Your Neighbour programs and similar initiatives helped the region become the host for this year’s event. Let’s make the summer Nominate Your Neighbour program the best one yet as we prepare to welcome visitors and delegates for the symposium.
