Finding your transit route is only a click away
Residents can now use Google Maps to plan their routes on municipal transit.
Transit users can customize routes without sorting through schedules on their mobile devices or computers. Users may also map routes using business names or landmarks instead of addresses.
It’s easy to use!
Using Google Maps to plan your transit routes is easy:
- Open Google Maps and choose a starting point.
- Choose a destination.
- That’s it! Transit routes will automatically be displayed if available.
Residents can also access the transit features of Google Maps at rmwb.ca/transit.
Making transit better
“One of the ways we promote transit is to make it more accessible,” said transit manager Michelle Brewer. “We hope that this service will make transit better for our existing riders and attract some new ones too.”
