Explore the Clearwater River
There are numerous boat launches available to help you get out on the Clearwater River. Remember to always wear a life jacket when boating, paddling or floating.
Use the Parks Map to find the locations of all boat launches.
Book your space with a special event permit
Did you know you can host special events in Municipal parks? For events with more than 50 people, or more than one person per 15m2, you’ll need a special event permit. Whether it’s a birthday party, a special family gathering, or a get-together with friends, make the most of it with a special event permit.
Drive cautiously, cross streets safely
For the next two months there will be increased pedestrian activity around parks, sidewalks and crosswalks, especially children and families. Please drive cautiously and remember the 30 km/hr speed limit remains in effect in playground zones.
When crossing streets, use a crosswalk. Stop, look both ways and make eye contact with drivers before entering. Drivers should approach crosswalks with caution and yield to pedestrians. Do not park within 10 metres of the approach of a crosswalk, stop sign or yield sign to maintain visibility and safety.
