Mayor and Councillors are inviting Elders and community members who are 65 or older to join them for good food, great company and holiday cheer on Nov. 25 at the Quality Hotel & Conference Centre.
Event registration opens Nov. 6 at 10 a.m. Tickets are free but expected to go quickly, so don’t wait to sign up once registration opens.

Council’s Holiday Luncheon will celebrate the contributions that seniors and Elders make to Fort McMurray Wood Buffalo.
“Seniors and Elders are the foundation of our region – we owe them so much for everything they’ve done for us,” said Mayor Sandy Bowman. “We always look forward to this annual gathering and we thank everyone involved for their leadership and commitment in making it a reality.”

Transportation available for most rural attendees
Free transportation to the event is available from Anzac, Conklin, Fort McKay, Gregoire Lake Estates and Janvier. Any rural attendees needing transportation to the venue should declare this during registration, and transportation will be arranged.
