Register as an individual or group in the annual Community Cleanup and Adopt-A-Trail programs
Today is Earth Day, and what better way to celebrate than by launching the municipal Community Cleanup and Adopt-A-Trail programs!
Volunteers of all ages are encouraged to help beautify local parks, trails, and public spaces by picking up trash and debris.
Community Cleanup and Adopt-A-Trail
These initiatives are a great way for people to come together and contribute to a cleaner, more beautiful region for everyone. Let’s refresh the community and pick up the trash left behind by winter!
How does the Adopt-A-Trail program work?
- Select an available section of trail or green space, ranging from half a kilometer to three kilometers in length.
- Commit to four cleanup sessions between May and September.
- Take part for two consecutive years and you'll receive recognition signage in the area you've adopted as a thank you!
How does the Community Cleanup program work?
- Sign up for one cleanup session or as many as you’d like.
- Cleanup supplies are available upon request at the time of registration (while supplies last).
- Beautify your neighbourhood, playground, park or trail!
- Report your bags for pick up and submit a selfie of you or your group.
Register today!
- Online at rmwb.ca/cleanup.
- By calling Pulse
- At your local municipal rural office.
Registration for both programs will close Sept. 15 and all cleanup supplies should be returned by Sept. 30.
