Santas Anonymous donations collected by RMWB Transit for Stuff-A-Bus toy drive
Two RMWB Transit buses loaded with toys and gifts for Santas Anonymous arrived at Father Patrick Mercredi Community High School on Friday, Dec. 13.
Transit Services staff, Father Mercredi students and 100.5 Cruz FM and Play 103.7 were joined by Santa Claus and Buddy the Elf as they visited participating Stuff-A-Bus locations to spread holiday cheer and collect donations.
In the afternoon, the jolly crew was joined by additional Father Mercredi students to help unload the busloads of toys and gifts for Santas Anonymous.
Volunteers and students will now sort and wrap all the donations from the ninth annual Stuff-A-Bus toy drive to provide gifts for local children and families this holiday season.
Thank you to participating organizations and dedicated volunteers
“Santas Anonymous is something that makes us so proud to be part of this community,” said Mayor Sandy Bowman. “A huge thank you goes out to everyone that took part in this year’s Stuff-A-Bus toy drive – what you’re doing really makes a difference for children and families during Christmas and the Holiday Season.”
This year, the Stuff-A-Bus toy drive began on Nov. 21 and saw 33 organizations register to collect donations for Santas Anonymous.
