Heavy snowfall and extreme cold temperatures have created challenging road conditions in Wood Buffalo. RMWB’s winter maintenance crews continue to work around the clock to clear snow and sand icy roadways.
"Our crews have been working non-stop through the weekend and continue clearing snow and sanding icy roads to keep drivers safe. Conditions can change quickly, so we urge everyone to stay alert and drive to the conditions of the road," said Keith Smith, Director of Public Works.
